Why purchase my monument before I need it?
A pre-need monument is a monument that is selected and purchased before a person “needs” it, or before they pass away. Often, purchasing a pre-need headstone is done as a part of end-of-life planning that many couples and families take part in.
Although pre-planning your monument seems like an intimidating task and a difficult topic of discussion, the advantage of pre-planning is saving your family from the emotional and financial burden while giving you the freedom to choose exactly what you want, this monument will tell the story of your life.
The cost of a funeral is already a financial burden for your loved ones, adding the purchase of a monument can be very overwhelming for some families. Settling your monument purchase ahead of time will ensure that you aren’t passing this burden on to them.
We will work with you in designing exactly what you would like. If you don’t like the idea of seeing your name in stone, just yet, we can place the finished monument in the cemetery without names or dates. When the time comes to add that information, we can go out into the cemetery and add that information later. Please note, engraving in the cemetery later will come at an additional charge.
